About the role:

The role is expected to form partnerships with patients and carers and apply the insights, which arise to improve the design and planning of organisational processes, safety systems, quality initiatives and training.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the acute hospital setting
  • Demonstrated experience in weekend or on-call service
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advanced clinical reasoning skills for ICU and cardiorespiratory/surgical patients, and experience in neurological caseloads
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proactive team player
  • High level verbal and written communication, liaison and negotiation skills
  • Evidence of immunisations to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy for a Category A position
  • Valid Police Check not more than 6 months old or willingness to obtain
  • Working with children check
