The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Scrub Scout professionals to join our specialised teams supporting complex surgery across all specialties.
We offer a modern well equipped 10 suite complex offering natural light, Stryker operating systems, interventional radiology suite and 2 Davinci robots.
As a part of our peri-operative team, you play a vital role in our patients' cancer treatment journey. We offer flexible employment options to support your personal commitments and work-life balance.
About You
You are a compassionate and capable nurse with experience in Scrub Scout. You’re ready to collaborate with surgeons, educators, specialist nurses and your nurse unit manager to drive excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of this important service.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
- Two years (minimum) recent experience in a Perioperative Service
- High level of Clinical Competence
- Proven effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of computer skills and understanding of relevant health information systems.
- Membership of a Professional Perioperative Association /or Group (Desirable)
- Clinical skills relevant to the area of speciality (Desirable)
- Perioperative / other Qualification relevant to the area of speciality (Desirable)
- Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
