Pharmacist Aseptic Compounding (Fixed term 12-month)

Hospital Pharmacist – Aseptic Compounding

  • Aseptic compounding pharmacist role with rotation to other clinical areas;
  • To conduct quality checks of aseptically prepared products
  • Ensure appropriate labelling and documentation on aseptically prepared products
  • Liaise and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Comply with legislative requirements
  • Patient-centered approach to delivering care

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association (AHPRA)    
  • Completion of the eviQ Pharmacy Anti-cancer drug course (free).                                                                                                 
  • Must have experience in aseptic compounding and/or equivalent experience.
  • Up-to-date drug knowledge particularly oncology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all members of the health care team, patients and carers, contractors and vendors.
  • An understanding of the delivery of cancer care in a tertiary institution.
  • Evidence of immunisations to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy for a Category A position
