About the role:
The Clinical Trials Study Coordinator assists with the effective and timely management of clinical trials research activities of the Medical Oncology Department, including the management and provision of quality care of patients participating in clinical trials, conducting protocol requirements and monitoring study protocols.
- Coordinating all aspects of clinical trial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and study protocols
- Facilitating communication between investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders
- Overseeing patient recruitment, screening, and enrolment processes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date study documentation and data management
- Monitoring and reporting adverse events and protocol deviations
- Providing exceptional support and guidance to study participants throughout the trial process
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in science or a health care discipline
- Proven experience in a clinical trials environment in an acute setting
- Ability to maintain and always understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy
- EDC (Electronic Data Capture) systems i.e. iMedidata RAVE, InForm etc. - Desirable
- Medical oncology knowledge, skills, or experience - Desirable
- Evidence of immunisations to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy for a Category A position
