About the Opportunity

As our Physiotherapist Team Leader, you'll guide a passionate team of physiotherapists delivering specialized care to oncology patients. You'll combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of rehabilitation and supportive care throughout their treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of physiotherapists in oncology care
  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development
  • Support team members through supervision and professional development opportunities

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • 4 year’s post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level skills in cardiothoracic physiotherapy with experience in critical care and acute care settings
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
  • Empathy and understanding for patients facing cancer challenges
  • Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
