About the role
The Senior Study Coordinator plays a critical leadership role within the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit, responsible for the coordination and delivery of high-quality clinical research activities across early and late-phase oncology trials. This role provides oversight and operational leadership to assigned studies, contributes to feasibility assessments and financial planning, and supports the broader operation strategy of the unit. The position ensures trials are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and institutional policies, while also supporting junior team members through supervision and mentorship.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Nursing, Health Science, Biomedical Science, or related discipline
- Postgraduate qualifications or relevant oncology clinical research experience desirable.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience coordinating clinical trials, preferably in medical oncology.
- Demonstrated experience in feasibility assessments and/or financial aspects of trial management.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, ethical and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Competence in clinical trial databases and electronic data capture systems.
- Leadership capability with a supportive and professional approach.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability in a dynamic clinical research environment.
