The Opportunity
- Director of first impressions for the medical oncology / palliative care ward
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills essential
- Responsible for all administrative tasks for the medical oncology/palliative care ward
- High level customer service skills as you manage incoming calls to the ward
- Accurate data entry of patient admission and discharge to the Patient Administration System
- Confidential management of patient files on the ward
- Teamplayer - work with stakeholders from across the organisation
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent and/or
- Minimum 2-3 years medical administration with high-level customer service experience
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel), with accurate data entry
- Knowledge of and/or experience in cancer services (desirable)
- Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
- Valid police check <6 months old or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with children check
- Valid Australian working rights - no sponsorship is offered for this position
