The Role
Your role as the ENT SRMO/Unaccredited Registrar for 2027 will be to provide clinical, educational and research support for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
Your responsibilities will include:
Clinical
- Assisting in Operating Theatres
- Attend Visitor Medical Officers/ Specialty Clinics
- Conduct and attend weekly multidisciplinary Meetings
- Ward Duties
- Participate in Audit
- Participate in weekend rounds and on-call duties, including Northern Beaches Hospital
- Assist the ENT and Head & Neck teams at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and COBL
Education
- Participate and Assist in Education Sessions
- Supervise and Teach Medical Students
- Assist in Courses and Conferences
Research
- Participate in Clinical Research
- Conference Presentations
Selection Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration
- Dedication and interest in entering advanced ENT training
- Evidence of Publications, Presentations and ongoing interest in Research
- Interest in Teaching
