About the Role 

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role will assist the Payroll Team in delivering the fortnightly payroll and associated administrative support. The role is broad and varied, supporting all staff and managers across the business - every day will bring new challenges. In performing this role, you must ensure that the COBLH vision, values and behaviours are integrated into all aspects of your work. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Administering and maintaining the HRIS and Time & Attendance Systems  

  • Support monitoring the Payroll inbox and administering processes via online platforms, scanning/filing and maintaining the payroll electronic filing system 

  • Answering staff and managers payroll queries within the SLA timeframe 

  • A well-developed understanding of payroll practices and demonstrated ability to understand and comply with legal and statutory requirements 

Selection Criteria  

  • A minimum of 2 years payroll experience  

  • Experience working with EBA’s and Award interpretation 

  • Experience using Aurion and Kronos advantageous 

  • A tertiary qualification in an associated area will be highly regarded 

  • Ability to think outside the square and improve business processes
