About the role
- Responsible for all administrative tasks for the ward
- Manage incoming calls to the ward
- Entry of patient admission and discharge data to the Patient Administration System
- Management of patient files on the ward
- Work with stakeholders from across the organisation
- Provide excellent support and service to our patients their carers

Skills and experience
- Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent and/or
Minimum 2-3 years medical administration and high level customer service experience in an office environment or similar - Demonstrated understanding of patient confidentiality.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel), with accurate data entry skills
- Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to work on patient administration systems and/or electronic record systems
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of and/or experience in cancer services (desirable)
